\"\"<\/a>Wow, how exciting is this! – Voice in the Wilderness Ministries<\/em> has a brand new Website and Blog site. \u00a0Before I go any further, let me give thanks and recognition to whom it is due. First of all of course, and primarily, I wish to thank our Lord for his faithfulness and grace (his Unmerited Favor). Without him we would have nothing to say, and certainly no reason to be here in Mexico. Secondly, and not at all least, I wish to thank my friends Jason and Julie Funk for making these sites a possibility. Jason, without your long hours and expertise none of this could have happened.\u00a0 Julie, without your patience in allowing Jason the time that he needed to work on the sites, once again, there would be none.\u00a0 We thank you both.<\/dt>\n

So, now comes the learning curve for you the recipient, as well as for me the sender.\u00a0 Please take some time and look through the website www.vitwministries.com<\/strong> (this of course stands for Voice in the Wilderness Ministries<\/em>).\u00a0 It is a beautifully constructed site with many hidden treasures, dropdowns, and surprises along the way. We will constantly be adding new pictures and updates to the site as well, making it fresh and fun to keep up with the work of Voice in the Wilderness Ministries<\/em> in Mexico.<\/p>\n

Then, the \u201ccrem de la crem\u201d \u2013 the very best of the best, is the Blog site which is directly linked to the vitwministries.com website. At this point it may be wisest for me simply to admit my failures directly up front. I have failed miserably and repeatedly in all areas of being even an adequate communicator, let alone a good one. Months (and months, and months) have slipped by without me getting letters and updates off. Many of you must have wondered over the course of the past year if Frey still existed at all, and more importantly, if there was anything at all still going on with the work of VitW Ministries. I can give a definite affirmative to both, and mumble excuses into my beard about the tyranny of the urgent, long hours that do not allow for sitting down to compose letters, etc,. etc..\u00a0 However, the plain, simple truth is that I have failed miserably. I apologize.<\/p>\n

But now \u2013 thanks once again to my friend Jason – there is a fun, practical, and simple tool which will make the past history, and turn the corner for me in communications. Of course, there will be some rough edges, and perhaps a hiccup or two as I learn the system and how to link the blog to the website, add pictures, change articles, etc., but the vision is this: I\/we will add constant, short updates, photos, thoughts, prayer needs\u2026 You, for your part, can log in and catch up with our activities as you wish. In this way there will be less tedium for you in reading, as well as for us in writing.<\/p>\n

To make all of this happen, simply log in as you have already done into the www.vitwministries.com site. Then, look for the bright orange tab along the top marked VitW Blog.\u00a0 Click onto this tab and you will be taken right into the Blog.\u00a0 Even better, make sure to Click onto the spot marked “Subscribe to VitW Blog by Email” (you will find this in the top left area).\u00a0 This will take you through several easy-to-follow steps which will require you to enter your email address and some squiggly letters. The weird letters are there to ensure that you are not simply a computer entering the site to spam, but that you are actually a person (a computer cannot read, or enter the weird letters). You will then need to open your email that will follow, and this will verify that you wish for updates to be sent to you. You may need to check your “Junk Mail” file if you don’t receive notification right away as your computer may not recognize the address and place it as junk. If you go through these steps you will always get a notice via email that there has been a new Blog added to the site. Cool!!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There will also be an RSS site, and soon a Twitter.\u00a0 But we can discuss this further in a later blog. I first need to learn how to do it myself\u00a0 (old guys need a bit more time to learn new tricks).<\/p>\n
