Ministering to children and adults in Tanlacut<\/p><\/div>\n

I bring you greetings from Manitoba as we are once again beginning to see temperatures above the freezing mark after what seems like a very cold deep freeze of several weeks. However, I guess in reality we don’t have too much to complain about since our winter (except for the bottom dropping out for several weeks), really was not too harsh.<\/p>\n

Still, it would be nice to be on a beach somewhere and not shoveling snow… just saying…<\/p>\n

I’m afraid that many of you might not realize that the ministry in Mexico has been going strong over these months and years, and has not skipped a beat. I am to blame for any misunderstanding in this regard because to a great extent I have dropped the ball and have not been keeping you up to date through these blogs.<\/p>\n

What you do not have any way of knowing is that I have been in ongoing and constant communication with the work in Mexico over the past years (oh, the wonder of the internet and the advances of technology – both the good and the bad of it)!<\/p>\n

What I believe will be the best approach for the future in these blogs is to post the reports and communications from the field directly. In that way you will be able to keep up to date on the work as events happen, and not have months-long gaps in between where you are forced to wonder if anything is happening at all.<\/p>\n

With this in mind I will place several reports into this blog, this time specifically from Javier, and relating only to the Pame missionary outreaches into the Eastern Sierra Madre mountains to the west of Cd. Valles. Javier and his missionary team are now entering into this region every second weekend for a three-day intensive ministry thrust.<\/p>\n

You will remember from past blogs that there is a Pame church-plant and Pame Missionary Center located in the little cross-road village called Agua Nueva. Javier and the missionary team’s thrust has expanded from this center into the mountains all around this outpost, and is directed specifically to the Pame tribal people in this mountainous region.<\/p>\n

Here we are gathering inside their business location in order to thank God for his blessings to them and to dedicate it to him<\/p><\/div>\n

Greetings brothers and sisters;<\/p>\n

I am sending you a photo of the Pame Christian community in Tanlacut at the dedication of the house and business of our brother Magdaleno and sister Maria Magdalena. This is the couple who donated the house and property at Agua Nueva which has become the mission center for the ministry into the Pame region.<\/p>\n

This is a photo of the front of their house to which the business is also attached; a new house with all its services and very elegant inside<\/p><\/div>\n

God is so faithful! After having donated their house to the ministry – the only house that they owned – God has blessed them doubly for their faith in him, enabling them to now own this beautiful new house and business.<\/p>\n

We have also had the privilege of planting a new church in the Pame community of Coco Tanl\u00fa. A dear elderly woman was the first one to open her home to us to present the gospel of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

On January 8th<\/sup> and 9th<\/sup>, the Lord willing, we will be entering into the mountains again in order to minister to these Pame brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n

On our last trip into the region we also visited the Pame community of Milpas Viejas where we have had a mission outreach for some years now. This time we were ministering specifically to the children.<\/p>\n

We are already seeing much fruit among the Pame people from the gospel having reached them. To God be all the glory for this.<\/p>\n

May God fill your lives and those of your family\u2019s with blessings on this year end.<\/p>\n

Ministring to the children in Milpas Viejas<\/p><\/div>\n

Greetings brothers and sisters:<\/p>\n

This week we were in Tanlacut and\u00a0Tanl\u00fa and it was a glorious time of ministry. God is adding new souls to the Church for his Kingdom.<\/p>\n

God Bless you my dear brothers and sisters. It is a joy to be able to greet you this way.<\/p>\n

\"This<\/a>

This is the new church in Tanlu in the little community called el Coco<\/p><\/div>\n

We fellowshiped with the believers at the new church plant in\u00a0Tanl\u00fa in the little community called El Coco. The first contact here began with one old widow opening her home to us. By this second visit the congregation has grown to eight new souls, and the church of Jesus has begun in this little community. To God be the glory!<\/p>\n

At the end of the service we shared a rosca de reyes (kings bread) with the congregation.<\/p>\n

[According to Mexican tradition the Epiphany, the 12th<\/sup> day after Christmas, marks day of the arrival of the three wise men after the birth of Jesus and is celebrated with rosca de reyes, a ringed cake with a baby figurine baked into the batter].<\/i><\/p>\n

We also were able to share clothing and footwear with some of the needy of the Pame ethnic group. We give thanks to the God who has blessed us so that we can continue to be a blessing those who are so very needy.<\/p>\n

These are the five students of the Training Center, Casa del Obrero, working in the Pame mission outreach.<\/p><\/div>\n

The need for rain continues and again there is a severe drought in the region. The rivers are without water and only one well supplies the entire community.<\/p>\n

Thank God, our return mission visit into the Tanlacut region was gloriously blessed. God opened a new congregation and a whole new group of believers in the small community of El Coco in the\u00a0Tanl\u00fa area.<\/p>\n

From one old woman who opened her heart to the Lord on our last trip the church here has now grown to eight souls hungry for God. We trust our Lord that he will continue the increase of the harvest, and that this fledgling congregation will continue to grow strong.<\/p>\n

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,<\/p>\n

This is a photo of the dear brothers and sisters in Tanlacut who have always remained faithful to the Lord.<\/p><\/div>\n

Glory and honor for ever and ever be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who always fills us with abundant blessing.<\/p>\n

This is the first sister who opened her heart and received the Word into her soul in el Coco<\/p><\/div>\n

I am continually moved that despite the Covid pandemic our brothers and fellow countrymen among the Pames continue to receive the Word of Truth and come to the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

But the work among them also comes with a great commitment for me as well as it requires me to travel into the mountainous regions where they live to the west of Cd. Valles, every 15 days. On each mission trip we minister the Word of God to various communities scattered around the region. However, it is also a great privilege to be able to bring encouragement and words of hope to their thirsty souls.<\/p>\n

During our visits into the Pame villages we walk from house to house looking for open hearts to the gospel and for potential workers for the Kingdom. I know that from along these paths and steep mountain walkways, at any moment, God could unveil a champion for his Kingdom from among the Pame people themselves who could take the Word beyond what we as a team can reach.<\/p>\n

My prayer and cry to God is that the Lord of the harvest will send forth laborers into His harvest, which is clearly ready for the in-gathering.<\/p>\n

This was my work team this week<\/p><\/div>\n

God bless you my dear brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n

We just arrived back from the mountains and I feel very blessed by God because He has allowed us to arrive safely home to Cd. Valles again despite the cartel violence which took place once again in the city last week.<\/p>\n

Just a very quick report on this latest ministry trip into the Pame Zone:<\/p>\n

We experienced great victory in ministry with our brothers and sisters at the Pame Mission Center of Agua Nueva on Friday afternoon. We also had a new married couple in the congregation there. Later in the afternoon we had a very edifying service in Tanlacut for the believers who gather there. In El Coco there were three more people who were added to the Body of Believers. To God be the glory!<\/p>\n

Besides this, this weekend we were also able to plant another mission church in La Cebecera in the municipality of Santa Catarina, deeper into the Eastern Sierra Madre mountains.<\/p>\n

We ministered to the brothers and sisters of Tanlacut, Agua Nueva, and Milpas Viejas on Friday. On Saturday morning we left the Agua Nueva mission center early and drove to the new church plant at El Coco where we ministered throughout the morning. Later on Saturday afternoon we drove to Santa Catarina were we ministered throughout the afternoon, and spent the night. Through this ministry time in Santa Catarina another mission church has been planted. We give God the glory for the victory that He gave us. Because of the ministry of the missions team this week one more brand-new mission church has been planted.<\/p>\n

During our time in Santa Catatina on Saturday where the new church was begun we were in a vigil of prayer throughout the evening, and until 11:30 at night.<\/p>\n

We ministered on Saturday morning at the mission church in the community of the El Coco.<\/p>\n

Baking under the sun on a hot day at the new church plant just outside the community of Tanl\u00fa<\/p><\/div>\n

We met with the church one kilometer from Tanl\u00fa on a very hot day on Sunday at 11:00 in the morning.<\/p>\n

There is a tremendous hunger for the Word of God throughout the whole region, and the hearts of the Pame people are open to the gospel of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

We continue to reach the Pames people on the side of the slopes in Tanlacut under the oppressive heat<\/p><\/div>\n

Praise the Lord, there were three more adults for Christ, and ministry to the children.<\/p>\n

A great need that is besieging these Pame communities in the mountains to the west of Cd. Valles is the lack of rain causing a very severe drought. The rivers have dried up and the wells are in critical condition due to two years of almost no rainfall.<\/p>\n

But even in this critical situation God is receiving glory, and the beautiful thing that is happening as a result of this need is it is leading people to seek God.<\/p>\n

My cry to God is that He might have mercy on these communities.<\/p>\n

This is the bottom of the river of Tanlacut; normally a flowing and bubbling river \u2013 now nothing but stones and dust.<\/p>\n
