VitW Ministries Statement of Faith, Values and Mission
Voice in the Wilderness Ministries agrees fully with the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada's Statement of Faith, although presently it is not an EFC member.
VALUES:
The Kingdom - Seek first the Kingdom of God and His work.
The Word of God is given pre-eminence.
The Headship of Jesus Christ and passion for an intimate relationship with Him.
Teach students to walk in Christ-like character.
We value indigenous people doing their own work.
We value an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
We value character above activity.
We value the Word of God as being the direction of all we do.
We value sharing but not dependency.
We value the Holy Spirit's ministry.
We value the spread of the Gospel.
We value equipping Christian leaders in all areas.
We value the total individual.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Our mission is to strengthen, equip and assist our Christian brothers and sisters in Mexico as they spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:1-20).
