Bible School Ministry

Since 2006 Voice in the Wilderness Ministries has been working with the national church in Cd. Valles to help to establish an interdenominational Bible Institute called Instituto Biblico Interdenominacional Luz de las Naciones (Light of the Nations Interdenominational Bible Institute).

In 2006 Voice in the Wilderness Ministries was also privileged to be able to introduce the Project L.A.M.B.S. (Light Abroad Mobile Bible Schools) curriculum developed by Dr. James Humphries and Dr. Charles Nichols to supplement the already existing Light of the Nations Bible Institute.

The vision for the farm-based missionary Training Center Finca Casa del Obrero, which is currently being developed by Voice in the Wilderness Ministries also will be a Bible school missionary training program. The significant difference between it and the former two Bible schools will be its predominantly hands-on approach compared to the more academic approach of the other schools.

The mission of Voice in the Wilderness Ministries is to "Strengthen, equip and assist its Christian brothers and sisters in Mexico as they spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:1-20)". It places a high value on equipping national Christian leaders, and on indigenous believers doing the work to reach their own people for God.

Because of the values and priorities that Voice in the Wilderness Ministries has as an organization we see that it will continue to place a high priority in the area of developing Bible schools and in the training of national missionaries. This is the role that we believe that God has given us to accomplish as we continue to serve in Mexico.

We also believe that as quickly and practically as possible many of these roles can, and should be handed over to godly and qualified national leadership.
